The life of a USPS letter carrier can be interesting. Taken As a whole, it is really quite boring. This boredom is punctuated by moments of stress, joy, and occasionally a misunderstanding that ends up being hilarious. Take this encounter for example. Today was just one of those funny days when one thing is said, but it is understood in a totally different way! I was delivering mail to an apartment complex when here comes a buxom lass in her mid twenties. My eyes lock on as she bounces down the sidewalk as she walks towards me. She informs me that she just moved in to an apartment and if she should put her name in the box. Being the cavalier gentleman that I am, I said that I would do that for her.
